Commercial Properties

Commercial properties in the La Paz area and Baja California Sur in general cover the full spectrum of business uses. I do not recommend that my clients buy business type properties unless they are fluent in Spanish and have experience in the business that they want to buy. Most of the businesses last only a short time if purchased by a foreigner as the operating costs usually exceed the income. The locals have a difficult time of it also.

Besides the operating costs of the business the foreign buyer would most likely have to hire an accountant to file the taxes monthly on the internet with Hacienda, plus the expense of the work permit and Visa with immigration for permission to own and work in the business here in Mexico.

So if you would like to own a business in Baja California Sur or Mexico in general check it out and verify what your costs are going to be. Market analysis is helpful to see where your clients are going to come from.
